The set here was a playful studio session. Years ago, photographer Sven Zovoorts felt like experimenting and invited me to his studio with the idea “let’s see what happens”. Due to the relaxed atmosphere and our playful nature I felt comfortable messing around and trying out unusual poses. I find the quality of these photos, is in feeling comfortable and knowing the person standing on the other side of the lens. Being able to let go and having fun with that. Spending some time with the photographer gives way to hitting a point of understanding and interaction, which creates space for creativity.
